Republicans caught in a catch 22 here. On one hand, they can cling to pro-life, but it nearly cost us the house and could feasibly lose the presidential election, giving pro-choice Democrats the power. So what does it matter if the Republicans are pro-life but they’re not the ones in power anyway? Nothing. Republicans need to either cave and go the more pro-choice route, or the Democrats will win and do it for them.

I do not understand why this is so hard to understand. This is a losing issue for Republicans. There is no good outcome. But the stubborn MAGA idiots refuse to see this.

Basically the Dems can do whatever they want and still win elections off of this alone. You can call it “desperate” all you want, they literally don’t have to have a plan in place and this issue ALONE gives them a good shot to win.
