It's just funny that the bar for bball is so low; a UT-Martin transfer is a "huge" get.

1) Mark Sears for Alabama came from Ohio
2) Latrell Wrightsell came from CS Fullerton
3) Nick Pringle came from community college and Wofford.

You don't understand college basketball transfer recruiting if you think that the school the kid is coming from matters as much as it does in football. There are only 13 spots at each P5 school meaning TONS of talent is overlooked and ends up at smaller schools. 43% from 3 is 43% from 3 no matter where he comes from.

Watching just the tournament, I realized that many of the top players on the Power 5 teams were transfers. The portal and NIL have turned the mid majors into farm teams.
