Who knew gangbangers didn't have life insurance?

Some prominent black figure was saying all inner city males should get life insurance.
Would create wealth for their families.

Such a crazy idea, I like it.

Is a special rider be required/available for being killed in the commission of a felony? Most life insurance policies have a provision to not pay out if you were committing a serious criminal act.

This might cut into their Hennessy and scratch offs fund.

I've seen what happens when people who are destitute suddenly come into big money.

An in-law cousin of Mrs. Axe received a settlement for somewhere around $4M a few years back. He and his wife bought the most expensive home available in their town of 40,000, then had a shop built to house several sports cars, Harleys and sport bikes they bought. Went out splurging on vacations and expensive cruises, buying high end Italian clothing, Rolexes, custom home furnishings and electronics. Said they didn't have to worry about money any more because "4 million will last us forever!"

Literally 8 months later, they were selling off their cars and bikes to pay for their lifestyle. Then, they cut back on their expenditures and started selling stuff just to pay bills. Two months ago, they sold their previously $850,000 home for 125,000 because they didn't have anything left to sell to pay bills, and had trashed the place so badly that it basically looked like something only a flipper would buy.

They used the money from the home sales to pay off a few debtors and a pile of speeding tickets, then paid his mom back 40,000$ that they had borrowed previously. They now live with his mom and are flat broke.

Now, I've never had that kind of money and probably never will, but I guarantee if you hand me $4M my first thought is going to be, "how can I turn this into $6M within 24 months?"

People are stupid.
