MSY is a very good small airport.
Its downsides were the fly over ramp which has now opened, and the rental car situation, which still sucks.
Everything else about it is really good for an airport of its size.

Still on my shite list for not having enough staffing to have TSA Precheck/Clear operating on Thanksgiving weekend which definitely made a bunch of people miss their flight.
Only reason it wasn't a pain for me is I was able to bypass everyone because I had a kid in a stroller which gets to cut the line.
