This is all people want of an airport of its size. Its not one where you're going to have a long connection typically, its not a hub.
People want to get through security, have a drink, catch their flight.

Have to disagree about the adequate parking. I've now been forced to park in the old garage 3 times because the new ones were all full. Missed a flight the first time it happened it took so long.

You ever tried to get your luggage from baggage claim in less than an hour OR catch the bus to the rental car terminal...?
Pack a lunch to do either....MSY sucks.
