But how can you run a ball screen offense with a center that... doesn't set good ball screens?? And has no ability to score off the roll? You can't.

That was kind of my point man.

Idk why ppl are worked up over me a throwing Baker a bone that he is a good *shooting* center. I tore apart every other aspect of his game.

I realize it’s not 1970 & never said you don’t need guards, but somebody has to play C & almost everyone we played this year had an advantage at the position.

Most of the posters here don't know squat about basketball. All they know is wins and losses. Period. They never ran anything. They never built anything. They never coached anything. They never put their nuts on the line for anything. They are the generation of instant gratification raised on the internet. Basically they are all hat no cattle. Saying a program can be turned around in 1 year and saying a program MUST be turned around in 1 year are two completely different things. But you have to look at the mentality of the people you are arguing with. The same people who said Denbrock couldn't coach in the SEC. The same people who wanted Jayden Daniels benched or not to return. Hell the same people who wanted Kiffen to replace Kelly after last year. Either Mcmahon will figure out the portal and provide competitive teams or he won't and he will be replaced. It's really that simple and whether he's winning in year 3 or 4 or he's losing in year 3 or 4 really doesn't matter. If he gets to the tournament in years 3 and/or 4 are we really going to care whether it took him 1 year or 3 years. Not to the sane rational people. Wade will probably stay another year at Mcneese just as a reward for them giving him the opportunity and the extension they just gave him. He knows he can dominate that conference and be in the NCAA again next year. If MM was to totally bomb, which I don't expect, then maybe that would be a scenerio where he could come back. But if Mcmahon exceeds this years record or comes close to NCAA bubble but doesn't make it due extenuating circumstances like injury to a key player or something like that then he will be here for a 4th year. If you are losing sleep over that then you really need to get a life.
