You're NOT calling pitches and you're NOT coaching this team. There's a very good reason for this. No one gives a damn what you would do "if you were coaching".

STFU, lol
This is a message board. Someone bitching about a player is OK but not a coach? You think they're a better pitcher than Little?

Bottom line, it WAS 3 straight fastballs and his slider had been on point. Why did the pitching coach or whomever calls the pitches call zero breaking pitches? I'll assume Yetske is the pitch caller. That was an atrocious sequence from whomever it is.

To be clear, the fastball was supposed to be thrown up and in, he missed his spot by about 2 ft. It was still 5 inches off the outside corner and Jordan did a nice job handling it. Had he hit his spot, probably would’ve tied him up given he was on time with a fastball 6” off the outside corner. The other 2 hits were off a fastball that was called right down the middle, and I think he hung a slider or missed middle middle with a cutter with a 1-2 count. Reality is he was three pitches away from an effective outing. A critique of pitch calling here is interesting given the location of said pitches were poor. He was running it up to 96, he has potential. Hurd was horseshite up until postseason last year, as was our entire bullpen, yet they figured it out. Give it time
