Yeah NASA has already said they're out of the rocket business in the future. They currently have the SLS but it's a financial disaster and the crew capsule is plagued with problems, not tonmention completely outdated. It would make more sense just to scrap that program and give the money to SpaceX and other private space companies at this point.

Yeah, NASA needs to just become a replacement for the FAA with a mandate to stay out of the way of progress.

Q: So what of the $52 million PER DAY allowance they been playing with for the last 50 years? (as well as going forward).

Is its budget now all being re-directed to the "Space School" for adults & kids we keep hearing about -- the one staffed with blue-haired transformer "instructors"?
