In TX property taxes are paying for the schools, so those rich people are probably funding a much larger portion of the school than others. We have 30 acres west of Tomball near Houston, and I can tell you I’m paying enough to the schools to cover quite a few students despite my son going to private school. Even if the vouchers covered all of my son’s tuition we would still be funding multiple students in the public system.
