Definitely don't send it in to Barbour to be rewaxed. That's the waste of money. So easy to do yourself. And as far as the price, you can find them online for sale. MSRP on mine was 400, but only paid 250 if I recall correctly. Timeless look, quality performance, will last forever. Same as my Filson computer bag. Cost more upfront, but has out lasted any bag I had before and looks as good as the day I bought it.
