Sometimes it takes a number of things. Dad got a job transfer when I was in high school. Ended up coming down to 5 schools. One was crossed off for work commute. Another for school's location. Another for weaker athletic department. It came down to a good public baseball program and a good private baseball program. Both ended up winning state that year (2008).
Parents elected not to spend $16k for me and my brother to attend the private school. Worked out fine.

Agreed. Like I know for a fact trey’dez green just showed up at Zachary. Now, he had a relationship with the bball coach from AAU, but Brewerton wasn’t out there actively recruiting him.
It’s kind of like hey I can play for East Feliciana or go right up the road and really get developed. Some folks say the push for him to move came from LSU for developmental purposes.
