Any tips? I'm very nervous.

1) If they offer you something to drink, take them up on it. I realized after my first job interview that I get horrible cotton mouth (only ever happens in interviews) and having a cup/bottle of water is a life saver. Taking a sip is also a good way to pause and collect your thoughts without it being awkward.

2) don’t say anything negative about current/previous employers/coworkers.

When asked why you’re wanting to make a change always make it about opportunity or industry and nothing else.

3) don’t be cocky and try your best to seem genuinely interested in the work by asking sincere follow-up questions, etc.

4) reach out to the interviewer(s) via email afterwards and thank let them know that you enjoyed the opportunity to get to know them and thanking them for their time. Try to mention anyone that you were introduced to by name as well.

Goodluck!
