Sounds like they were working remote. Would it have been better to go into the office to get fired? Would have bitched about that.

Getting fired via Zoom is not really the issue. Her manager not being present is.

That's the issue I have. And if the manager didn't tell her along the way what he/she thought of her performance.

90 days, in the grand scheme of things, is not enough time to truly determine one's output. That's why activity is important. Activity + productivity (calls, appointments booked, etc.) can eventually lead to success.

Now, if she had zero activity and was not productive at all, then she has no leg to stand on. But she didn't believe that was her scenario.
