What is this crap? I got news for you this guy is the best coach they could have possibly hired! Just sooos you know the state of Washington doesn’t have very much talent pouring out of their high schools in addition not a lot of Cal kids want to put up with 9 months of Rain each year either. So given what he had to work with and the players available to him Debors did one hell of a job there. Not to mention Saban is still around and he will be available at anytime to give him advice as well. Alabamas commitment to winning is second to none by the way let me throw out a name for you. Paul Bryant Jr! He’s still there too!

I never said he was a horrible coach, but the hiring of him has a lot of Alabama fans very concerned for a number of reasons.
* 64% of his wins came when he was a NAIA HC
* he's only been a D1 HC for four years
* he's a West coach guy, never coached in south
* he comes from a passing conference/no defense
* Washington had the 96th ranked defense nationally
* has no ties to the SEC
* never recruited in the south
* he's only won 1 conference title as a D1 HC and that was this year in the Pac-12
* he finished 5th in Mountain West as Fresno HC
Judging from those stats, I completely understand why many Alabama fans are very concerned about the hire!
