If they hired Les back when Herbie broke the news to try to prevent it (successfully), they would have gotten him at his best. RichRod would have been a better fit in BR at the time. Now, Les isn't worth the trouble he'd bring to an already troubled program.

If Rich Rod goes to Bama Saban stays in NFL. Rich Rods wife is the reason RR went to Mich. She did not want to live in Alabama. That is direct from Bama Booster.
