I bought my first ever blaster box this week. It was an nba panini 2023 draft picks box. Pulled the base Wemby rookie card. Is it worth grading? Or should I just keep it safe and hope he turns out awesome and grade of it becomes worth more?

Impossible to say if it's worth grading without seeing it.

Grading comes down to surface, centering, corners and edges. I don't really grade base cards, I think it's a waste. Unless it comes back a 10, you're losing money. That's not the case with every card, but it is with base/lower valued cards. If it was his NBA Prizm base instead of draft picks, it'd be worth it, but being a college box/college uniform card, it makes it less valuable.

Looking at eBay sold comps, it's selling between $10-20. I'd keep it as is, and sell when he wins NBA ROY or right at the end of the season when his stock will be the highest.

Also I'll warn you, if you start opening more, you'll get addicted
