To take it a step further a lot of people were upset he was coming back because he would get in the way of Nuss. All time dumbest takes on this board.

Obviously Daniels’ level of play has gotten much better since the first half of the Arkansas game where he was throwing passes into the ground on 5 yard slants and still being hesitant to throw the ball downfield. Since he connected with Thomas on that long pass right before the half of that game JD has been playing amazing. This doesn’t mean that the people wanting Nuss to get some PT before Daniels flipped the switch were out of line.

Coaches make millions of dollars and winning sustains their lifestyle. Generally speaking, they are not going to sit the best player so the 2nd best player can lose.
