This is why I have been investing in gold and silver. I would move to a place with cheap cost of living (Costa Rica) and live like a king. Anyone not stocking up on gold and silver is foolish, it is your only financial protection if the dollar is worthless one day.

Even though this won't happen in our lifetimes, playing out the hypothetical...it's not like something huge like this would happen overnight out of nowhere, so you'd seemingly have time to plan ahead, pull your retirement out and put it into something where you can move to another country and still access it(hate to say it but crypto? lol)

Taking that retirement fund down to a place like CR, I imagine I can get a pretty decent setup there. No clue what I'd do for work going forward, but I think I'd have enough money on hand to figure it out.

Also no clue how establishing citizenship and shite like that works in a small country like that.
