Good luck with showing flags in a parking lot is distracting students in a classroom.

You don’t think large Pride, BLM, Confederate, Antifa flags flown in a pickup truck at a high school is not going to cause a distraction?

The rule was probably put in place specifically to avoid situations like the one I listed; not to prevent the American flag. Some of you are just being dense in this.

I would imagine this or other politically charged flags is what the rule is aimed at. But the good suffer for the bad.

Interesting sidenote, in the AP public schools dresscode there is no written exception in the rules for kids wearing beanies or skullcaps for religious reasons. Such as a kippa/yamakule.

Causing a distraction and spurring conversation are two different things.

Do you really think someone's flag, in a parking lot, out of sight of students is keeping them from learning?
