Would Bama go to the sugar bowl with a loss to both auburn & Fla. or would UGA go. I beleave that this senareo is likely, your thoughts?

I think they'll end up there. They go to Sugar or NC easy as that.

correct me if I am wrong...but if the SEC has a team in the BCS Title game the Sugar Bowl has the choice of having an (at large) SEC team play in the game or they have the option to choose a NON SEC team...

I believe this is accurate. I also think that if we lose to AU and lose to Florida, we go to the Cap One bowl and not the Sugar.

Has the sugar ever taken the looser of the SECCG?
If so when? I dont think the Sugar would take a Bama team that just dropped 2 in a row.Bama would prob. not be in the top 10 any longer.

one thing Bama does have going for them is that they have not been to the Sugar in quite a while, they would bring MANY FANS down to the game...

We would bring more than any team not named LSU. That being said, I think you are counting your chickens a little early.

Not recently but weren't the losers always then a 2loss team? If Bama wins out and loses to Florida obviously they'd be a 1 loss team ... ahead of Georgia & LSU of course.

???

But I have 2 Sugar Bowl tickets coming ... hope it's Bama and I can make $$$!

Bama loses to UF. Bet the ranch on it. Bama will only lose one of it's remaining games. I would like to see a UF vs TT matchup in the sugar or any other bowl. That should be some game!

Actually, if the sugar bowl loses it’s SEC champ it gets the first choice if the SEC champ is ranked #1 and the second if the SEC Champ is ranked #2. So technically speaking, they could lose the SEC Champ and not get the first choice and someone else could take the other sec team first int eh at large selection. Here’s the at large selection for this year…

First, all bowls get auto tie in’s… then

Bowl that loses BCS #1
Bowl that loses BCS #2
Rose
Fiesta
Sugar
Orange

(this is the order if there are spots available.

It goes from west to east starting with the next year’s champ and finishing with the bowl where the BCSNCG is played. That’s why the sugar had Hawaii last year and the fiesta had boise the year before that.
