Been playing golf over 40 years, started as a 12-year old. Since I was a baseball kid, the 10 finger grip felt most natural. I have never tried another grip. I've turned out to be a pretty decent golfer. Have won a few local tournaments, started breaking 80 in my 20's and over the years have become a 0 handicap using the 10 finger grip. I don't recommend the grip to anyone, I occasionally give lessons to new players and always encourage the more traditional grips. That being said, if it's comfortable and you believe in it, the game can be played at a reasonably high level using the 10 finger.
