See the annual Irish Channel Parade in New Orleans for reference, where hundreds of marchers in drunken stupors navigate an entire parade route.

Are you arguing on behalf of the defense?

If she was functioning enough, where she could march a 5-mile parade route and seem like she was aware, how could a 17-year-old know that she was too drunk to give consent?

Having said that, I doubt very seriously there are any St. Patrick’s Day parade marchers who march the parade in a drunken stupor. Drunk yes. In a drunken stupor, no.

The kids in the car said she was falling down drunk and couldn't understand her.

Youre looking at a few seconds of video and trying to make a useless point.

Have you ever been to one? I go every year and have multiple friends that walk. They are trashed by the end. They have cars for the people who get too drunk to walk. I'd say there* are people who get in a "drunken stupor" state that walk in the parade. Same with Mardi Gras. There are tons of videos of people in "drunken stupor" chasing floats for a stuffed animal. It's not uncommon.
