If you are staying in the area and doing more than just the Masters, Hickory Knob State Park has some decent cabins and there are 3 courses to play within 15 minutes of there. It is an hour drive to Augusta National so it may not be the best place if you plan on going to the tournament every day you are there.

Yes. I used to play the Hickory Knob course a lot and it's a fairly decent layout with a few challenging holes. The greens putt slow but there are a few holes where you have to hit good shots or you're screwed because they are so tight with woods on both sides.

That frickin par 5 #2 hole going up that steep hill kicked my tail regularly and #9 was a bit tough to.
