He didn't have the horses that he will have in the South.

Also didn't compete against the horses he will in the south. Is Navy the same / better / worse than Mississippi State? Is Georgia Tech better / same / worse than Ole Miss?

I expect the offense to be much more open than what we saw at ND.

Mostly agree.

The Les Miles comparison is just false.

Miles was extremely successful at LSU. Call me when BK gets to a national championship game with Jordan Jefferson.

At Notre Dame, Kelly averaged about 100 yards per game more than Les did at LSU.

Last 4 seasons SOS comparison:
2021: LSU 7 ND 43
2020: LSU 27 ND 57
2019: LSU 3 ND 37
2018: LSU 5 ND 31

It's a lot harder to win at LSU. I hope you're right about Kelly, but let's pump the brakes.

Well, BK has beaten LSU twice so that has to count for something, no?

The point is that, except for the southern teams, he would have won at least one national championship. Against teams that had the same access to talent, he dominated. And the SEC teams have the same access to talent as Kelly has.
