This situation stinks. It has been handled unprofessionally and under a cloak of mystery. This situation was known by LSU for three years and it was assumed by the “strong arse offer” to Javonte Smart. That’s all we heard about.
All the news centers about the machinations Woodward purportedly is dealing with but where is Tate in all this. The letter to the LSU community was signed off by both.
The charges against Wade appear vanilla in the present landscape of the college recruitment experience.
There has been no news of a renegade culture with the kids Wade has recruited. They appear well spoken, respectful and harbor genuine feelings for the coach.
All this uncertainty regarding the timing of the firing suggests a diversity element is in play.
