Same here. I really don't understand why you're so angry about this.
Is it because you got out over your skis about how good he was defensively in LA? It's ok. It happens to everyone, myself included.

has never been a plus defender. Which again, is wrong. He's shown the ability, not just once, but a number of times
"Saying Garrett Temple can't be an excellent 3pt shooter is wrong. He has shown the ability to be an excellent 3pt shooter, not just once, but a number of times."
Playing good defense once, or even a number of times, in an 82 game season isn't worth that much. Ingram has never had a season (yet) where he has been above average on defense. We're about halfway through his career. I'm glad you're optimistic about his potential; maybe your analysis will be correct. Forgive me waiting to see it first before I believe he can do it
But let me help you out in this thread: here's an article arguing that both his passing and his defense have been improving over a larger sample than not just once, but a number of times.

You're welcome. I can't wait to see what names you call me next

Again corndeaux, no one is arguing that BI has failed to be a consistent defender in this league, literally that was the thesis of this discussion that you attempted to interject into multiple times to try and argue. First about whether the come-to-Jesus comparison with Curry was apt(it was, they have both filled their early careers largely avoiding defensive responsibility, but they need/needed to embrace it in order to raise the level of their team’s ceilings, doubly so for BI because forwards are much harder to hide than PG’s, especially with another often poor defender next to him), and then whether BI even has the capacity to be a plus defender(he clearly does). And if you weren’t trying to argue that point, why the heck were you quoting at me to begin with? Just to argue??
As to your GT comparison, that’s conflating capacity to do something with willingness. The more apt comparison is that if you hypothetically saw GT put effort into his threes, he was consistently making them at a 40% clip, but for some reason he refuses to take them or does so with no effort. GT absolutely does try to take them and puts effort into it, he’s just not good. That’s not the case with BI. When he puts in the effort he can be a good to elite defender…he just lacks giving consistent effort and focus
