I work out at 4 am so the pre workout gives me an extra boost. Also I enjoy the muscle pumps that come with it. For those that say pre workout does nothing for them I would question the pre they’re taking.
As far as protein powder, of course you can get enough protein from meat, but a good tasting protein shake (and not all of them are) can break of the monotony and be a bit a treat. But to each his own
