In spite of our inability to live up to the hype..

Would you be cool if we improved over the next few weeks and finished with a young team upsetting one of the contenders along the way like Bama or Uga.

Maybe finish 7-5 or 8-4 and see Sean White look promising.

I think every rational Auburn fan would be happy with that.

I'd take a growing pains loss to Kentucky if it meant upsetting @Texas A&M and Georgia or Alabama at home.

If we beat Arky, Kentucky, and either of bama or georgia, I would be ok with that.

I really don't like Bret so a win against Arky will always make me somewhat happy just by itself.

Fundamentally, you're asking if I would be happy to see consistent progression throughout the season to become competitive and eventually beat (as of now) the top teams of either division.

fricking duh. Of course I'd like to see that.

I would take that shite right now. Unfortunately, it appears that Gus is not going to be happy until he goes Full Chiz by creating a QB controversy where there shouldn't be one. Then the shiteshow will really start and the month of Nov will be unbearable.

I'm good with 4-8 if Jacobs gets fired.

I'm in that part of the grieving process that I just want to win the next game and don't care how. I also have a little hope left that our team will stay competitive. Maybe Duke was the problem. If Gus can get the team back and start calling some plays and Muschamp can be more aggressive. Hopefully I still feel this way next week at the same time.

I would take that in a heartbeat. Beat one of our rivals and ruin their chance at an SEC championship and improve every week ? No brainer

All I want is progress. Im frustrated because we look like shite the same week to week. If we get better but lose, ok. Lots of youth that will get experience.

Having said that I want to beat Georgias arse. So, get better young men.

This is like asking a homeless man if he'd be cool with going to the shelter for a couple weeks and then moving into a condo and starting his new upper-middle class job.

Since the LSU game, I think they've shown this. I've been very, very encouraged by the general attitude of the team. I think Duke being gone will only improve that, especially with some leaders (Shon and Avery) starting to step up.
