It's not happening this year. There's nothing left to play for. The SEC and playoffs went bye bye with that shitshow yesterday. No reason to burn a redshirt now.

"Preparation is key. I've been Patient enough. Now it's my time. Blessings, and faith ????
#1 #InWoodyBWeTrust ????"

It would be so Gus to pull the RS now.

Don't think it is what it sounds like though.

Reality of keeping a dynamic QB for 4 years of play is not realistic. Put him in what is basically the pre season for next year and see what he has.

ETA:

SW might be out for the season if WB plays. That's how I would take it.

Woody would get 3 games under his belt prior to spring and next season. Go for it.

And if he wins them all. frick you gus for yesterday.

Surely Gus isn't dumb enough to pull his redshirt.

Idk. I was telling myself yesterday:

Surely Gus isn't dumb enough to continue playing a QB that is hurt and ineffective...

The answer to any question that starts with, surely Gus isn't dumb enough... is yes. Just yes.

You're right. I feel like I should be publically castrated for saying such a dumb thing.

Would be stupid to burn a red shirt now. Not like we have much to play for besides pride and a bowl game. I'd start JJ before anybody else. Give him AA&M to get back warmed up and then bama as his swan song.

If woody knows the offense and can bring the zone read as an option, play him.
