No we don't have the pass catchers yet. They're too young. We have Smith and Davis and that is it at this point. Stevens is meh.
Darius Slayton
Eli Stove
NCM and
Kyle Davis all are TBD.

Sadly, Auburn's entire offense (just about) should be a "wait and see" given the youth and inexperience.

RB, OT, WR, TE and QB are all young and for the most part inexperienced.

But by naming White the starter, can a man pray that Gus has seen something special from the WRs?

Otherwise, aren't we looking at 2015 repeat:

1st down run for 2 yards
2nd down run for 2 yards
3rd down dropped pass
59 yard field goal from Carlson

Yes, if you're into that thing, send in a prayer for me. Given that it took this long, I doubt we have any thing special in our offense rn just being brutally honest.

Took him all offseason to beat out the guy that can't read defenses and throws the ball backwards + a WR with inaccuracy issues and a drama queen Netflix c-list celebrity.

God speed, Sean. Don't be worse than last year.

If White plays like he did against Arkansas all season and the receivers actually catch the football, we'll be fine.

Why are you bringing rumors here and stirring shite up dude?

Let's show a little more restraint on this board.

SW is going to be good if we can catch the ball. In the Arkansas game, several drops we all remember.

I remeber this and being livid. SW can throw the ball, I hope Gus has built a good offense for him this year.

Good news. White is the only guy on the team capable of giving us a game winning drive.

But we need to go back to the 2009 offense with White. Misdirection and pre-snap movement has disappeared over the last few years. Bring that stuff back, use his knowledge to our advantage.

Let's see the pump-and-go we used to throw to Adams. The 10 yard out, the slant, and maybe even a square-in.

Just looked at the 2009 offense stats and I would gladly take this. 16th in total offense and 17th in scoring offense.

By that, I mean it seems to me that Gus has weighed the pro's and con's and is ready to go with a more pass-focused offense rather than a run-heavy JF3 lead read option offense.

So assuming my thesis is correct, do we have the WRs to excel in a pass-heavy offense? Hopefully all these 5 star freshmen convinced Gus that we've got the playmakers to sling it 40x per game

Dude we will still be a 60/40 run/pass team. Wouldn't matter is Tom Brady suited up.
