I hope he makes it, but hope is not much of a strategy.

My freshman year I walked into village dining after a meeting and was dressed business professional. Jeff came in and I was waiting for my food and he went out of his way to make conversation and ask about me. At the time made me feel great and I'll always remember that about him. Extremely humble and incredibly nice guy

Jeff Whitaker is the type of guy younger players have and should continue to look up to. Reality tells me that he will never be an NFL player and his recent past tells me he was never even a good college player. However, he has been a great role model for Auburn, he has been a great leader for Auburn and I wish him nothing but success with whatever future plans he has. And I personally think he would make an excellent coach one day.

He will always have a home in Auburn, AL.
