Because we know how much Snead loves his alma mater.

The Auburn/Jeff Fischer pipeline is a major selling point to recruits.

I'd say it's more so Les Snead than Jeff Fisher.

Reese Dismukes.

Maybe Sammie Coates, if St. Louis doesn't trade up to take a wide receiver early.

I just hope the Panthers don't duck this up and grab Lael Collins when he falls to rounds 4-7.

If they haven't gotten around to it by the 7th round, then it'll be C.J. Uzomah.

You are probably right. Jeff has always had Auburn players on his team though like Sen'Derrick Marks and Rob Bironas and his son played for Auburn recently.

Nick Marshall from his Path to the Draft

Rams among teams looking for sliver of substance

It could be years before it's clear whether Nick Marshall can be a starting cornerback in the NFL after spending the last three seasons exclusively at quarterback. As athletic as the 6-foot-1, 208-pound draft prospect is, his development at a new position will take time.

Maybe a lot of it.

But for St. Louis Rams general manager Les Snead, a Marshall practice rep from the Senior Bowl in January speaks volumes about his potential.

"He played corner and ran with (Phillip Dorsett) from Mami," Snead said, according to ESPN.com. "The kid from Miami made him hedge, but Nick was step for step. What that did show you is he's either just as fast as this kid from Miami, or he's got some football instincts that let him know know to play some coverage and know that, all right, that's guy's fast, I need to do this and this at this angle to make sure I stay with him."

EDIT: I keep seeing that the Rams' top needs include corner and QB. Nick is two for the price of one.

SI rated Nick as our highest draftable DB.

I could see the Seattle Seahawks taking Nick Marshall later in the draft.

I just hope Nick gets a good shot with a decent team.
