Scoring O - 66th
Rushing O - 64th
Passing O - 108
Total O - 99th
1st Downs - 66th
Sacks - 15th
TFL - 18th
Scoring D - 71st
Rush D - 109
Pass D - 38
Total D - 77th

Week one stats are always skewed because a lot of teams play cupcakes.

Yep, week 1 stats are essentially meaningless.

What did you think about Johnson? I faintly remember some nega-ness. Could have just been my drunken memory, though.

Now that I've calmed down and collected myself I'm fine with him. As long as his decision making improves then we'll be good. The LSU game will give us a better picture

Did you think he was trying to force it or making it too obvious who he was about to throw to? I guess what I'm asking is, what do you mean by decision-making?

I mean I was in the rafters so I couldn't tell who he was looking toward but I'd say he tried to force some throws that just weren't there. There's no question he has the ability to make every throw even through a small window.. But a couple of the interceptions there was no window

Yeah, I agree. I honestly believe he was just trying to live up to the hype.

At the end of the day Jeremy is responsible for the INTs but I don't think Gus and Rhett did a good job of play calling and adjusting to what UL Defense was doing

They were not going to let Jeremy throw it deep we didn't throw a sing bubble screen or many short passes, which if we would have might have brought the safeties closer to the line It seems we either ran the ball or tried to throw it downfield 15 plus yards

I think our coaches knew we had to much up front for UL and we could win pretty easy, which we did, just got close in the last 4 minutes

Our gameplan will be much different by LSU on both sides of the ball

this is my concern. some were bad decisions but a couple were just pure bad vision. either that or his accuracy was so bad it looked like bad vision, but knowing JJ I doubt it was an accuracy issue.

Can we get a Fumble Recovered for TD stat?

Edit: wonder if ole Bert is regretting moving the Auburn/Arky game out to later in the season this year.
