When are we finally going to see a competitive AU team again?

Seriously, besides 2010 when was the last time Auburn fielded a solid, competitive team? Was it 06 or 07? I'm sick of getting blown the hell out by the LSU's, Alabama's, and Georgia's of the conference. I haven't seen a quality Auburn defense in years

We entirely need a defensive minded coach. We just got over one of them. We just need a good coach. Hopefully Malzahn will be one.

You expected a team coming off a 3-9 record to go into the most hostile night environment in CFB and pull off an upset against the #6 in the country?

Yea but the QB is overthrowing/not making good passes. It's hurting. Our defense started clamping down but they ran threw us like Swiss cheese. How the frick is LSU that much better these last three years? Is is conditioning? Recruiting? I mean I was under the impression we went after most of the same recruits besides the LA recruits LSU always gets.

When we decide hiring mediocre coaches with ties to AU and being Auburn men is no longer the requirement

That's actually a great question. When, with whom & how do we become competitive again with the upper tier of the SEC? First half was ugly.
