Whatever happened in the AU basketball point shaving incident?

I never heard much after Varez Ward left the team.

It was disproved... It did not happen. One person tried to get a player to point shave, another player heard about it.. Auburn put a stop to it before it started.

Was it disproved or just had plausible deniability? When Varez airballed both free throws it sure seemed legit

I thought Ward did a diversion program. I get that the point shaving never materialized, but was the whole plan hatched by Ward? Was there a bookie or other person behind it?

There was a main bookie I believe.... This wasn't just ward
