DL is a mess. Just like PM said in the insider notes. Only got 2 DTs that are actually playing well. Recruiting has sucked big time the past 2 years.

Thornton should never have been recruited as a DE imo. I mean the guys isn't even 230 lbs. And if Davidson stays as lazy as he is in high school he will be a bust also. His brother wasn't a real barn burner either if you remember he was more of just a body.

I think Garner has been a monumental failure and UGA fans were right to be excited he left. I thought it was sour grapes at first, but Garner sucks arse and I wanted him gone last year.

I think we will see at the end of the season how much control/input Boom actually has over defensive coaching personnel. It seems pretty clear Muschamp is not at all pleased with what was supposed to be a strength of the defense.

Assuming we fire Garner and get a real DL coach, I'm not worried about the DE or Buck at all. I think we can find one legit DE, one solid starter and one rotational player from the following
SO Kennion- Someone just needs to give him some roids. He is solid off the edge but one super one dimensional at 6'5 235
RS Fr Thornton- He is the more extreme version of Kennion.
Fr Cowart - Give this man a diet book. Shouldn't be playing at just under 280
FR Prince Tega - As long as someone not Garner is coaching him, he should be a stud on size/speed alone
FR Jeff Holland - Guy looks legit at Sam and always rumored to move to Buck LB/back up Buck

At DT though, we are so fricking screwed. Here are the returners for 2016 assuming Monty leaves
So we will have one solid DT, two cruddy backups, one unknown and one converted DE
