We Should Definitely Fire Gus This Season

Because there aren't any other programs who we'd be competing against - Oregon, Houston, Cinci, Baylor, Purdue, and others I'm sure to fill a HC vacancy.
Because someone like Jimbo would definitely come to AU after he wouldn't take the LSU job. And hiring someone like Fleck based on limited experience in an easier conference is likely to do just as well if not better in the SEC west.
Because AU was picked to finish 6th in conference and we finished 2nd.
Because people were pissed when we had a healthy QB during our 6-game winning streak.
Because he made a horrible hire with Steele.
Because he's brought in awful recruiting classes since he's been HC.

No, because I fully admit and recognize the frustrations of our fans:
Lack of QB development/recruitment
Playcalling in Clemson and UGA games which exacerbated the frustrations of today's play calling/performance
Trust me. I'm pissed too. But some people on this board need to take a step back from the ledge. Seriously, someone in one of the other threads suggested we go after Jimbo Fisher. WTF?

Let's not forget about the offensive showings against our rivals under his watch. We're so lucky to have a "young and talented" team in his fourth year as our head coach. Surely next year the heavens will open up and drop a serviceable QB on our doorstep. WaffleHouse for errbody!!

People have all these solutions for home run hires. Tell me, which coach is most similar to Saban that Fedora has to recruit against year in and year out? And I guess PJ Fleck is playing against competition like the SEC west week in and out

In your opinion what do you think Gus does next year? It's going to be the same shity offense no matter who is running it outside of Stidham. We'll get 8 wins again next year with losses to LSU UGA and Bama. Is that what you Gus fan boys want

It's just being prudent. Make a move when you have a successor lined up, or you're going to end up with troys coach or bill Clark or something. May not be much worse but I highly doubt it would warrant the $$$ to buy everyone out.
