We are a #basketballschool now!
We actually have an intelligent, competent coach running our roundball program.
We have a stubborn, lost buffoon trying to run our football program.

Honestly though, what have you seen to make you think that we're going to open it up offensively? It'll be White's first road start on a Thursday night game. We'll see more of the same. Vanilla, predictable playcalling. Our only hope is if the defense decides to show up and I highly doubt they will.

I think 2013 ruined Gus. We could destroy people by calling about 5 different plays. He's lost his imagination since then. I'd love to see some 2009 Malzahn right now.

Yeah, it's bad. I get freaking out about JJ initially in the season, but at this point, it should be obvious expectations aren't going to be reached. Johnson went full retard under the stress of the spotlight, and Muschamp doesn't have the personnel he's used to.
AU's offense started slow under Malzahn's leadership in '10 & '13, until he adjusted to his personnel in live action. It will probably take him longer this year, as we're adjusting farther from our identity than with Johnson, but I think he'll get it clicking.

Sean White is not Cam Newton or Nick Marshall. I think we'll get better, but I doubt we see anything better than average this year offensively.
