Was there not supposed to be a 10 second runoff anyways?

The officiating crew should be suspended for the inept bs tonight... 0 holding calls against LSU, 2 missed targeting calls, that missed clock run off on a play that should have never occurred

I thought so too but after looking at the rules the officials got it right. It has to be a penalty that stops the clock on a dead ball.

10 second runoff rule - check rule 5

They had about 4 people moving on that play in addition to at least 2 of them moving forward toward the line of scrimmage.

The fact that they gave them ANOTHER play is SEC officiating at its finest.

Like false start?

Which happened on that play with at least 2 LSU players that they didn't bother to call?
