Was the Chris Davis run back the loudest you have ever heard?

From all the football games, What was the loudest? No doubt for me, the Chris Davis run back was it. The Louis catch was loud for a short period but Chris brought the place down.
Anyone else?
Anyone else?

No doubt. We were on about the 20 close to the student section in the upper deck and couldn't hear fireworks exploding literally 30 yards from us. 89 iron bowl is the loudest game I've ever been to but as far as peak sound nothing comes close.

I wasn't at the Kick 6 but I was there the week before for the UGA game @ that was insane. The WV game was pretty loud at the start because everyone was so amped.
I would think either Kick 6, Prayer or the UF punt block were probably the top 3 loudest

Wasn't there. 06 Florida blocked punt for me

I was at the UGA game and the reason it was shorter was because there was time left for UGA to score, but was the loudest game I ever attended.
Chris ended the game with that against Bama for the SEC West title. I would imagine it was louder and of course longer.

Fo sho. Longest I've participated in, too. The Camback was the quietest ending to a big game I've witnessed.

It was definitely the Davis run back. I was at both. Also at the Oregon game and the Florida game.
The second Louis got the tipped ball against UGA, it was loud. But there was a sense of "its over" in the crowd at that game. I think there was a sense of "pissed off" at that point as well. We had dominated them for 3 quarters and to be honest, I never thought they would come back. I give Murray all the credit. We were pounding them and they had quit. Then we let them back in and you could just see it happening. Then the miracle. A lot of people had given up.
Nobody had given up at the Bama game. Everyone was on egg shells most of the game and neither team was ever out of it or really down. The the whole 1 second thing happened and people were obviously upset so the run back was a punch in the gut to getting the second added back on.
It was crazy. I really cant explain it. People in my section who usually are fairly "together, lost their fricking minds.
I have been working in the shop all day and watching some old Youtube things and ran across some of the footage. Brought me back to that night when all was right in the world.

Yes and it's not really close I don't think

Like I said it was only the loudest I have ever heard attending a game.
TV does not give the true loudness of what is happening live. I have no doubt kick-six was the loudest. I know it was damn loud at my house.

I wasn't at the 2013 IB.
Loudest I've ever been to was the 1989 game. I was just a kid with my dad and granddad, but remember it well and it was nuts. Also, still the largest loudest, wildest, and frankly dangerous tiger walk ever.

I wasn't at the 2013 IB. In my mind the 1997 IB, when Jarret Holmes made the game winner, might be the loudest.

'89 Iron Bowl for the entirety of the game.
Kick Six for the one moment.

Pretty sure I'm going to the IB this year, esp if it is a night game. Night games are a lot easier when flying into Atl, then driving over. Still hate it I missed the Kick Six then took the biggest kick in the balls ever in the game that shall not be mentioned soon after.
Can't imagine anything being louder than the several minutes after the kick 6.
The 1989 game was the most electric and I'm seriously not sure any sporting event in the U.S. has ever had the kind of sustained roar of that day for the 6 hours from tiger walk until the end. Hell, we had players that needed medical attention from hyperventilating hours before the game even started. That tiger walk was just beyond anything I've ever seen.

Yeah, 89 IB will probably never be topped for consistent noise the entire game.
I wasn't at the kick six myself, the 93 Florida game when Jackson had the 100 yard pick six from the goal line was the loudest single moment for me attending a game.

I have my oversized ticket stub from it framed. Section 9, row 48, seat 11.

That's bad arse. I was literally in the middle of a bad divorce during that season and losing my 2 daughters except for visitations. Football was the last thing I cared about that year. I didn't watch one game that I can remember.

Damn that's a tough year for sure and I can't imagine football being on your mind much.
Almost embarrassing to admit, but that ticket is probably my most prized possession. It is in perfect condition, it was carefully placed inside of the program as soon as we walked in by my dad. We had 3 tickets to the game in the family. I remember being so happy when my granddad told my dad it was going to be him and me that were going with him.
I'll say this too, along with the excitement of that game that had been building for years, AU fans were terrified of losing. Bama was really good. Confidence was high, but the fear of losing was monumental on Dec 2, 1989.

Me and the people around me were screaming too loud for me to hear how loud it was.
But I did grab like 5 different girls boobs celebrating, and not even on purpose. That was far and away the most times and amount of women I've gotten to second base with as a direct reaction to any sports play.
So if we use simple math and convert our ratio of "Kick Six boob action" to "average football boob action" and convert that into a unit measured in loud noises, then yes.. yes it was the loudest.
