I almost forgot about this thread. I've done it the past two weeks, and we see how it's benefited the team.

Offensive Stat Comparison

Team__________Vandy__________Auburn
Yards/Play_____4.2____________6.4
Points/Play_____0.281_________0.457
Rush Play %____55.67%_______68.82%

Completion %___50.79%______68.13%
3D Conv %______32.99%______48.72%
RZ Scoring %____95.45%______85.00%

Defensive Stat Comparison

Opp Yards/Play_____5.5_________4.9
Opp Points/Play_____0.305______0.219
Opp Completion %___57.96%____56.36
Opp 3D Conv %_______39.45%____31.71%
Opp RZ Scoring %_____73.08%____70.37%

AU Rushing O: #3 in country with 303.4 ypg
Vandy Rushing D: #55 in country allowing 162.3 ypg (Ms State is #50 allowing 154.1 ypg)

Vandy's Scoring O ppg: #116 in nation at 18.7 ppg

Yes, Vandy has one of the best RBs in the country in Webb and Cunningham is a very good linebacker, but that's about it. Kyle Shurmur, their QB, might be the worst SEC QB we see this season -- the Commodores have the worst passing attack in the SEC by at least 30 yards as they average just 145 yards through the air this season.

Assuming AU shows up, plays its game, avoids all the turnovers, etc., we should walk away with an easy W. Other than Alabama A&M, this is our best chance for a shutout this season.

I'm curious to see how many reps KJ and KP both get. I predict Pettway will have 150 yds on the ground and Johnson will have 100+ all purpose yards.

AU: 44
Vandy: 6

I think next 2 weeks will give us a look into whether or not we can run on Bama. Neither front 7s are as good as theirs but their the best 2 we have faced since LSU. I think you see more early down throws this week to back them off. After that I expect the sledgehammer that is Pettway to take over.

Not sure how they are going to move the ball on us. Only thing I could see happening is a bust or Webb getting a lane & busting one. The big thing I want to see is our tackling improve from last week. That was what disappointed me more than anything.

Something to keep an eye on is they have one of the best kick returners in the SEC. We have shown some weaknesses there. Hopefully Carlson just boots it out the endzone & don't have to worry about it.

All that to say I think AU covers. 38-3 AU

In an embarrassing win AU inadvertently runs up the score as jf3 passes for one and runs in two more, after an already lopsided win has ensued.

Vandy 6

AU 63

(Everyone scores - AU jumps Wisconsin for good)

It's possible that we play to the level of our opponents.

38-6 Auburn

Sean White breaks the Vanderbilt defense early with play action passing and defense plays with a chip on its shoulder.

In Sean's greatest role yet, he will switch art forms. After studying the case, he will be playing the highly controversial Brandon Vandenburg. The Vandy D will play the role of a drunken undergraduate woman.

Closer than it should be at half. AU pulls away late.
