JGT: We're hearing that Auburn has listened to multiple overtures from both Under Armour and adidas during the past several months.

He did not mention Nike. Contract ends in spring 2016.

IMHO: we need to stay with UA. Opinions?

Under Armour is likely trying to flex some muscle in negotiations since they don't "need" us like previously
We likely are right back.

We won't switch to Adidas unless they break the bank and their child's piggy bank too

Meh Adidas wouldn't be that bad as long as we can keep them somewhat accountable for what they design

Adidas is awful unless you like looking like an HBC.

Did you have the pants to go with it? Haha. I wanted them but my parents would not buy them for me.

Adidas was a bargaining chip. UA can not afford to lose us. We are in the premier conference in the nation. Only USCe wears UA in our conference. USCe, meh. No major team in the south wears UA except us and USCe. We have won one NC and played for another wearing UA. We are UA's big dog. I hate Notre Dame, but we need to thank them for signing with UA.

Yeah I'm betting Adidas is just a negotiating move. I could see Adidas "offering" a sweet deal, and even if UA hates us a little we have been the most consistent team to represent them on a big stage. I would be shocked if we didn't stay with UA.

I'm a Nike guy. I don't really love UA. Glad they finally improved those tiny names on the jerseys; it was an embarrassment imo. But i would rather stay with UA than go with Adidas.
