Off field analyst position opening up soon? That defense doesn't work much anymore but.

Jacobs may be an unqualified bumpkin but at least he tries to do his job. Tubs doesn't want to work, he just wants to duck hunt

Never have I seen such a terminal case of man-love toward such an average coach who never gave a flying frick about Auburn.

The "average" coach gave our fanbase our only semblance to stability since the Dye days and helped deliver a lot of Iron Bowl victories. I guess others could say they don't understand the love for Pat Dye, the drunken Bear Bryant disciple as well. That is not me..but I'm sure they're out there.

This might be one of the stupidest things I've ever seen on this board and that's saying something. I for one, would LOVE to see Tubs back in some sort of role on the plains.

Analyst. Some sort of advisor.

Personally I just want him looking for HS defensive recruits.

I get how you wouldn't want him back as HC or DC but I don't see how you couldn't want him in a minor role. I just wonder if he would take it. If I was him, I would probably move back to Auburn and tell Gus I can help if you need me but I'm not taking an official position. Then spend most of my time hunting/on the lake.

Special teams coach and game manager. He always knew when to bust out the onside kick and was great at managing momentum 10 of 12 games per year.
