Tre Mason, Junior, Auburn A high note during a miserable season, Mason quietly averaged nearly 6.0 yards per carry.

He was in the "up next" category after his top 5 RBs to look for

There were two players on our team that did not quit last year. He was one of them.

I never saw any quit out of C.J. Uzomah.

Saw some injury, but no quit.

JW. Absolutely. I'm talking starting players. I don't think Jay knows how to quit.

I wonder if Kiper know there are no New Mexico States or Alabama A&Ms for which Tre to gain 1/3rd if his yards against in the National Football League.

It is true though. He didn't quit, which I respect but he didn't do shite against good teams. No way he leaves after this year.

He didn't get enough carries to do.shite against good teams, cuz we were so far in the shitter by the second quarter that we had to throw the ball, so tat's kinda unfair to say. And mMike Blakely had some good games to start the season so he lost some carries to him. Tre is forreal.

He has Mason as the #8 draft eligible running back for 2014.

Mel appreciates him more than our fan base.

He had single-digit carries against Miss State, LSU, and Arkansas. Low yardage in those games was not his fault. Blame Loeffler and the Lolfense.

He averaged 5+ YPC against TAMU, Arkansas, Clemson, LSU, and Vandy as well as the aformentioned scrubs. He's not Adrian Peterson, but he's a decent back.

My point exactly. He was very under utilized by Loeffler.

Love me some Tre La Soul. I am bookmarking this to bring up after the season he is going to have. Im sure most everyone on here already knows but do you youngsters on here know that Tre's dad was 1/3rd of the early 90's hip hop group De La Soul?
LINK
Link is their most well known song. Was a huge hit. Tres dad is on the far right in the first shot.
Side not: I heard the fat guy from PM Dawn has a son who is a hell of a football player, I hope we try to get him also.

Considering the state of the offense in general, I don't care how he got to 1,000. It's impressive regardless.

I was wondering the same thing after the game Saturday... dude's the most complete back we've had since Tate... outside of the occasionaly fumble, he doesn't really have a weakness in his game -- can run inside, outside, can catch passes out of the backfield, blocks well... good size/speed ratio. Amazing balance as well.

with RBs, you never know... I wouldn't blame him at all if he left early, but wish he'd stay.

I would love for him to stay. He is the best player on a very good offense but if I were him I would get the money when I could. He has proved he belongs in the NFL. 2014 will be CAPs turn to prove he belongs.
