In terms of travel it would make it so much easier. It's an absolute bitch having to play in College Station, Fayetteville, and Baton Rouge on odd years.

Would be awesome. For us old fricks, we'd get UT and Florida back, which was good old HATE. Especially Florida in the Swamp, and we'd get to tax that Boom arse.
We play UGA every year so no big deal. But rotating the rest of the SEC West would suit me just fine. Especially the douche bags in T-Town. That rivalry needs to cool down a little anyway. Plus, would be awesome to play Bama in the SECCG.

I wouldn't call it blatantly obvious logic. I mean, Mizzou is in the East. That alone warrants a shuffle. Hell, they're farther west than Baton Rouge while Auburn sits less than an hour from the Eastern Time Zone.

Switch us with UT and keep the one permanent cross division rival. It's the perfect solution.
