AUgirl7 from 247 who is a solid insider said it will take a raise to keep him and that still may not be enough. He's a good coach would hatexpect to lose him

Yes. And it has been rumored for a while that he would even take a pay cut to be a head coach

Also Wesley McGriff may be on Ole Miss short list as a DC candidate. I personally think they go will someone much more established thank him tho

If Horton got a HC gig that he's been looking for for the past few years and McGriff left to be DC at a SEC school, I'd hardly call that Rats jumping off the ship

I don't recall a heavy amount of posters calling for his removal or leaving, but it has been 4 years. I just don't remember, but I think he is a solid coach and recruiter, probably underrated more than anything.
