How are we so bad in the first half, and the 85 bears in the second? I just don't get it.

This thread doesn't make me feel better.

1st half of football tonight was worst I've seen since 2012

Nobody really seems to give a shite to start the game. Coaches don't have the players prepared at all.

Does it take EJ that long to figure out what is going on?

It screams coaching, not talent.

A&M went super conservative in second half and ran the ball a ton. We were able to stuff it. That made their offense predictable.

It's the opposite of Tubs. Life as an AU fan never has consistency.

Not just Ellis Gus needs to take a long hard look in the mirrors

*Rhette Lashlee should also look in the mirror since everyone else is doing it. And he can take Craig with him. I think Craig should be coaching QB's since he GOT EJ Manuel and Christian Ponder drafted in the 1st Round. Pretty sure he could have Nick looking like the #1 overall pick

That is the frustrating thing about it. We had a chance to be a great team this year and never seemed to get on a roll or get better as a team. We just went out and thought we would win because of the success of last year.

Never played a complete game in all 3 phases besides the LSU game. Lack of preparation, execution and focus have killed us. We seem to just forget how to play football and collapse several times a year.

Completely agree. Think the coaches overlooked TAMU because of their freshman QB's first SEC start on road. There's no excuse for how our defense played in the first half.

The first have on D is the worst football I have seen. It is on par with Chizik's last year.

ETA:

And Mincy doesn't need to put a AU jersey on again.

We were not pressing the WRs at all. The slant was open all day long because none of our guys were anywhere near the WR because of alignment. You could call it in the first half.

Yep this was our year no doubt about it. Hard to see us putting a championship team out there the next couple of years with a passing QB and no top receivers and our DL recruiting issues.

We pissed it away/had it stolen from us and this one will sting for a long time. First really inexcusable loss since probably Kentucky 2009.
