May have been covered but I can't sift through all those pages I missed yesterday.
Why would we do that to him? Did we really think we were getting both Jefferson and Godwin?

Could be he wasn't the perfect fit and we offered a grayshirt but didn't mind if he signed elsewhere.
Reporters said that neither Godwin nor CeCelia informed us their decision. We also had GG Robinson as an option

It's been reported that Sullivan knew about the Greyshirt offer for weeks.
Which pretty much means, Muschamp didn't see him fitting in our defense

Most kids end up looking around and Auburn isn't going to try and make the kid look bad in the process. Allows him to gracefully flip instead of giving the world notice "This kid doesn't make the cut at AU"
