anyone heard even slight whisper about who are power 5 opponent for 18 will be? so far Alabama state's the only non conference opponent listed going by teams that have openings I'm guessing it'll be someone from this group
Wisconsin
Michigan State
TCU
FSU
Georgia Tech
Syracuse
Northwestern
Purdue
Kansas

We wouldn't ever schedule them. They're far and away the worst P5 football team in the country that would bring no benefit

Kansas football fun facts:
4 total conference wins over last 7 seasons

12-60 record since 2009

Hot name to replace Tuberville at Auburn, Turner Gill last 2 years at Kansas and produced the identical record Chizik produced at Iowa State... 5-19

I know we have Clemson home and home in '16 & '17, nothing yet for '18. After that it is Oregon in Dallas in '19 and Cal home and home in '20 &'21 correct?

If that's true, in '18 we will either be playing in another neutral site game (maybe Atlanta, but not against Tech as they open in the new stadium in '17 with Tenn) or it will have to be a home and home where the return trip doesn't come for a few years.

Still amazed by the run Mangino had there.

The '88 game in J-H was by far the biggest mismatch I've ever seen in person at the collegiate level. It was literally like AU was playing a below-average highschool team. Final was 56-7, but it wasn't nearly that close - after AU scored 21 points in the first 5 minutes or so, I seriously thought we had a shot at hitting triple digits.

Some of you may recall that was the game that the officials basically let the clock run nonstop through the 2nd half.

Think I remember most about the game (and I think I've posted this before) was that, despite a 6pm CDT kickoff, and even though I stayed in the stadium until the clock hit 0:00, I was already back on I-85 headed south towards Montgomery when I suddenly realized the sun was just going down.

I grew up as a KU fan. They really fricked up running off Mangino. What he did there was nothing short of amazing. The guy must be hard to work with though. Rhoads fired him midseason this year.
