I think you know the answer to that. Gus's future rides on Stidham. Let's hope he can stay healthy at least

Stidham will not change our offense. Sure he'll be more accurate and scramble more but he won't change Gus's tendencies. It will still be curls and out routes on 3rd and obvious

Hopefully Woody Barrett would be ready to go. Would I bet on it? frick no but if we're gonna be a program worth a shite he'd be ready.

Stidham and Barrett have to both be good or else Gus is gone. Stidham will save him if he stays healthy but Woody will have to follow up.

so a better throwing healthy sean white, that can run? Sounds like a sec contender. idiot..

So Gus got his shite together at enough points this season to win 8 games and buy himself and Lashlee another year. Then he got Studham to commit (why does he want to play in this clown offense?) to give us potential hope for next year. Next year could be the last straw for Malzahn. He proving to be a master at buying himself one more year.

We kill ourselves in the most cultish, Auburn way possible, and invite Gus Malzahn to the collective funeral so he can let us all down one more time.

Maybe so but when we have a healthy talented QB at helm offense has looked fine. If Stidham is who we think he can be I like our chances of scoring points again next season

Then SW will play decent until he inevitably gets hurt (assuming he hadn't already got hurt in practice)
After that I guess Woody Barrett gets a shot

Member that time that joke of coach tried to pull off a fumblerooski on first down on the one scripted drive of the entire game?
That son of a bitch is a fricking joke and will NEVER be successful at a major program as head coach. Our "success" is in SPITE of him, not because of him.
Unfortunately that doofus bastard will be here next season for another mediocre season where we will replace him with yet another mediocre hire to repeat the cycle.
This is Auburn. Rah.

How, in the motherfucucking Hell, does it matter who is playing QB, if you call a god damn post, two plays in a row, and the second play reciever is 5'7" ???!!!!
Our coaching is the #1 issue we have.

They won't listen to you.
Still too many Gus supporters on this board. Too blinded by their fanism to see the problem is the offense not the qb.
Maybe next year after 5* beast qb jarret stidham goes 10-12 for 120 yards against P5 schools will open their eyes.

The argument to wait on Stidham is laughable.
Who do you expect to be the focus of your program: a bad arse coach who wins year in and year out? Or a good QB, who will be gone in 1-2 years and then we are looking for the next savior?
I want a great Head Coach. I want to win Championships, year in and year out. You do that and the good players will come every year. Gus ain't going to do it. He hasn't matured. He hasn't grown. He has reached his D1 ceiling.

Who the frick cares if this guy comes in and dominates? The problem is still there, it's just a band aid on top of a festering wound.
